Thai Foot Massage works on the feet and lower legs and is a wonderful way to relax. It is believed that by working on the feet you stimulate the energy flow and then move this up towards the body by massaging the lower legs.

Will I have to get undressed?
This will depend on what therapy you have chosen. For example with reflexology you will need to remove your shoes and socks. For Thai Foot massage I will need to be able to work on your lower legs so tight trousers may also need to be removed - you will have a blanket covering the upper part of your legs. With a full body massage you will need to undress down to your underwear although you will be covered by towels with only the area being work on uncovered at any given time. If you have any concerns then please be sure to mention this before the session starts so we can find the most acceptable way forward for you.

What is the best therapy for …………..?
All holistic therapies are about the right approach for each individual so it is not so much what is best for a particular condition, rather what is best for you. This will vary from individual to individual and often a good starting point is what do YOU feel drawn to most. It is also very important that you feel comfortable with your therapist and again this can vary, just as we find it easy to work or be with some people and not others. I am always happy to discuss this with anyone considering coming to see me and I also offer the opportunity to book a 30 minute consultation session so that we can explore the various options and put together an appropriate plan that is specific to you. It also gives you a chance to see how you feel about me as your therapist.
How many sessions will I need and how often should I attend?
This will depend on the reason for your visit and how much work is needed to be done. For example if you have back issues due to pour posture which has developed over many years then several sessions may be needed. In such cases a weekly attendance at first is advisable dropping to every other week after the first month and then monthly for maintenance thereafter. Needless to say that if you continue with the bad posture habits then more frequent visits may be needed over a longer period of time.
